We bought our first Airedale terrier, Ruby in Spring 2003 and as they say, it was love at first bite.
She arrived by air from the Old Iron kennels in Victoria. She was as cool as a cucumber as she got off the plane and moved into our lives.
She has excellent conformation, straight and sound. And above all, she is a wonderful companion and family pet.
You could not ask for a better dog than an Airedale Terrier. They are good looking, intelligent, loyal, loving and sometimes downright goofy. It is a versatile breed that can do anything from obedience trials to hunting.
Ruby is taking time out of her promising Obedience and Agility career to have this litter of puppies. She will be back training for her Open Obedience title as soon as the puppies are weaned.

Excellent foundation stock
The Doubledaire Airedale breeding program aim is to develop a line of versatile Airedales that will be true to the breed standard and sound in body and mind, so that they can perform in any sport or game their owner chooses.
We have begun our kennel with excellent bloodlines from some of Australia's top kennels.
All breeding stock is hip scored better than than the breed average to be free of hip dysplasia. This is not a guarantee that a dog won't develop problems with their hips, but starting out with parents who have good hip scores goes a long way.
Although we are looking for our next prospective show pup from this litter, we know that most of our puppies will be loving family companion pups. We want to make sure that their new owners get the best dogs possible.
